I went to the library to be productive and not get distracted (especially by ORAS) and now I’m sitting in the library without my 3DS and instead I’m scrolling the Pokemon ORAS tag on my phone. This is a problem.
Time to shut off the phone.
The only video games my dad has really played are Space Invaders and Mario Kart 64 yet he still enables me.
Me: I bought a video game... about squids... I know I need to focus on finding and financing an apartment and student loans and being an adult so I feel really, really guilty.
Dad: Well how much did it cost?
Me: Like $60.
Dad: Well that's nothing to feel guilty about! If you had said $500 I would've agreed that wasn't a good decision and you should feel guilty.
Me: Plus tax.
Dad: You'd spend more on a pair of shoes, right? Far more on makeup? You're fine.
Regardless of what it looks like I am actually turning 22 in 6 days.
