Finished the 1 ½ hr firmware update so I could finish the setup wizard on my Wii U.

Then it took me forever to figure out that I had to select Create a New NNID to get past the setup wizard and I wouldn’t actually have to set up a new one. I couldn’t enter my NNID until I did the 4 hr Wii U firmware update.

Which is currently downloading right now.

And with that, I never actually got to use my Wii U the day I got it. Goodnight.

I’m still very grateful to have my Wii U and I’m so fortunate! I just didn’t know Nintendo didn’t seem to think this through.
