1hr into Fantasy Life and so far it’s totally cute and what I was hoping for.

However, according to my first save after the initial character creation it took me 33 minutes just to finalize my character. (But the 6 character name limit was really restricting!) I was super impressed with all of the choices for hair color and eye color. I was especially impressed that there’s actual short hair for female avatars! (I mean, there’s a short hair option in Pokemon XY, but honestly it’s just a bob.)

Just he fact there’s an option for cute female crops improves my first impression, honestly. (I’m to the point that I get excited when there’s options beyond long anime hair. How sad is that?)
